The Roles: Ticker vs. Pulse
- The Ticker Indicator (The “Map”): This acts as your primary trend and signal generator. It identifies key entry and exit points based on price structure and direction. It tells you where the market is going and identifies the “Ticker” for a potential trade.
- The Pulse Indicator (The “Engine”): This measures market strength and momentum. It filters out “weak” signals by showing the intensity of the buying or selling pressure. It tells you if the move has enough power to follow through.
How They Work Together
The true power of this duo lies in confluence. A trader uses them in a two-step verification process:
Signal Confirmation
When Ticker issues a “Buy” or “Sell” signal, you immediately look at Pulse.
- If Ticker says “Go” and Pulse is showing strong, increasing momentum (a high pulse), the trade has a higher probability of success.
- If Ticker says “Go” but Pulse is weak or fading, it suggests a “fake-out,” helping you stay out of a losing trade.
Trend Endurance
Pulse helps you manage the trade after you’ve entered. If the Ticker trend is still active but Pulse starts to drop significantly, it serves as an early warning that the “engine” is stalling. This allows traders to tighten stop-losses or take profits before the price actually reverses.
